Over the years, I've talked with thousands of distributors about their businesses and their circumstances. Some of the commonalities were as follows, |
Eight Commonalities - An inability to communicate the language.
- A lack of know-how with regard to the application of the systems, procedures and techniques that were developed to build the business.
- Not really understanding the concept of how this business works.
- Not knowing how to make money.
- An inability to focus, on a day-to-day basis, because of not really understanding how to plan what to do.
- Confusion about motivation, belief, and success.
- No real idea of how they're going to "get there."
- A lack of product knowledge and application.

This overall lack of understanding kept coming up over and over again. It was obvious to me that if I was really going to help people, I needed to come up with solutions and provide the know-how to use them. The most important part of the solution to all these concerns is communication. I believe that communication will solve everything. Every challenge begins with a problem in communication, so it's logical that the ONLY way to solve any challenge is by communicating the right information in a manner that's easy to understand. This is what I set out to do in my book, Vested Interest. I call the ideas in Vested Interest, the 10 things you need to know. However, they are really more like the natural laws of network marketing. No one has to enforce them, they enforce themselves. I've been on both sides of these laws and have experienced how great the payoff can be when you follow them. I also know how expensive it can be to break them! |
